Reading to Samuel & Making Stop-Motion Films

I went to Target on Saturday morning by myself. I was looking for tiny furniture for the girls’ play room but didn’t find anything I liked. While I was there, I browsed the book section and found some great storybooks that I decided to get to read with Samuel.

Since then, we’ve been sitting on the couch in our living room in the evening and enjoying the books together. The girls may be climbing all over and around us but it is still a nice time, something I want to be in the habit of doing.

On Sunday, Samuel and I learned how to make stop-motion films. We used LEGOs (of course) and the videos turned out really cute. We added music and sound effects after filming. He was thrilled with some of the fighting sounds, likes lasers and explosives, lol.
